Food & Agriculture Industry Development Grant Program
Purpose
Projects involving new product development; alternative production, processing, distribution and marketing methods or technologies; the introduction of high technologies; or organizational methods that further the development of the food and agricultural industry in New York State are eligible for funding. For the purposes of this program, food and agricultural industry projects shall include those involving farm woodland or fresh water aquatic products produced in either natural or man-made water bodies or controlled structures. Grants up to $60,000 are available and must be matched 50% to 50% by the applicant.
Eligibility
Public and private agencies and organizations, business and industry, educational institutions, local governments, and individuals.
