Purpose

Pride of New York is a product brand identity program for New York State-produced agriculture products.  It is designed to help increase sales of New York products for growers, processors, and retailers by advertising, marketing and labeling. 

Not a funding program – a small fee is charged for this service.  This office of the Department also represents New York food industry companies at trade shows and associated annual events, most recently in Chicago, Teaneck, Anaheim, Houston, and some foreign countries.
