Purpose

Designed to aid New York State individuals seeking farm employment or improved farm employment skills, the Agricultural Workforce Training Program indirectly helps farm employers be more productive and efficient.  The monetary value is related to the cost to the state of providing up to 40 hours of instruction to an individual person. 

Eligibility

New York State persons seeking improved skills in agriculture occupations.
