Rapid Response Services
Purpose
Rapid Response services are provided at no cost to enable affected workers to transition to new employment as quickly as possible following either a permanent closure or mass layoff or a natural or other disaster resulting in a mass job dislocation. Information on a variety of Labor Department and other relevant services are provided, including unemployment insurance, skills assessments, training, and reemployment options. Sessions can be at a One-Stop Career Center or at the employer’s place of business.
Eligibility
Any company that is facing layoffs or closure is eligible to receive assistance for themselves and their employees.
