Purpose

New York is home to two of the world’s fastest supercomputers at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Stony Brook/Brookhaven National Lab.   The State, through NYSTAR has the ability to provide companies with access to these and other state computing facilities for advanced simulations, modeling, and development aimed at improving their operations.  Access to computational scientists for developing the complex simulation code can be also provided through NYSTAR.
