Purpose

The State budget provides $5 million for matching grants to leverage resources from Federal or private sources, including the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, businesses, industry consortiums, foundations and other organizations for efforts associated with high technology economic development.

Eligibility

Institutions of higher education or non-profits seeking matching funds should contact NYSTAR directly for more information and may submit the online application available on NYSTAR’s website.
