Purpose

The NYSTAR Research Equipment and Facilities Database is an online resource that includes listing for: state-of-the-art equipment, labs and prototyping facilities at New York’s colleges, universities and research centers.

This database offers a link to investments made in these facilities for research, prototyping and product development.

Its goal is to facilitate access to these unique tools by companies and research teams to maximize use of these investments and accelerate research and product development. The opportunity to utilize these investments is specifically targeted to those for which equipment or facilities are too expensive to purchase or develop on site. A modest cost to companies or research teams may be required and will vary by institution.

Eligibility

This Research & Equipment Database is an open resource. NYSTAR staff are available to assist with searches or to augment the database with new listings.  The database is continually updated.
